History

History and future growth. GÖK Consulting was founded in 1990 by Dr. med. Stefan Drauschke and was developed into the TOP consulting address for the health care sector together with Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Pieper.

From the mid-1990s on, GÖK Consulting concentrated on the improvement of the materials management and logistics of our customers. Already in 1999, we were involved in the successful planning and implementation of the first multi-user logistics centre at the Charité in Berlin. After numerous successful projects in materials management, the business field Strategic Purchasing Consulting was developed in 2001. Still today, these business fields form important consulting products of GÖK Consulting. Due to our many years of experience, we are the undisputed No.1 in the German-speaking countries in the field of supply management consulting for health care facilities.

The market entry into the Alpine countries was completed in 2003. In Germany, strategy consulting became increasingly important for GÖK Consulting. Not satisfactorily served by the “big five” consulting firms, many clinics and hospitals came to us. As an healthcare specialist, GÖK Consulting was able to implement important projects in strategy consulting to the complete satisfaction of the customers. It was important for us to move from a presentation-driven consulting practice to action and implementation. Accordingly, reorganisation and reengineering projects were implemented in almost all areas of the healthcare sector. Experience that only very few consultants can boast. We are recommended by word-of-mouth propaganda. In recent years, we have taken on interim mandates in hospitals and university clinics with the purpose of organizing management changes or supporting management committees in their work.
